Coinkite Launches New Higher-End COLDCARD
Hardware company Coinkite has announced the launch of their new higher-end COLDCARD Q1, featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, larger LCD screen and QR code scanner. The device will also be battery powered removing the need for connecting to an outlet or computer.
Features From Previous Model
The COLDCARD Q1 includes features from Coinkite’s previous Mk4 model such as NFC compatibility, USB virtual disk mode and USB-C connector as well as activity LEDs for USB and SD card with CPU speed of 120 megahertz (MHz). Additionally it also has two SD card slots and an LED flashlight.
Advanced Scanning Technology
The QR scanner included in the device is connected internally using a 2 wire serial port which ensures that scanned data cannot do more than it’s designed to do. The advanced scanning technology included in theCOLDCARD Q1 enables users to scan under not so optimal conditions due to its specialized QR scanner with an LED light.
